What's up with Rhys?
Apr. 8th, 2004 11:58 amFor my own records. There's a lot going on lately, and my memory is poor...
-He rolled over 360 degrees for the first time at my mother's house: from back to tummy, and back over to back again. Not yet repeatable.
-He's found his feet well enough to pull his socks off now. This is slightly annoying, but way better than the previous ability of being able to grab his genitals during messy diaper changes.
-He's doing a classic "babble" of repeated phonemes, mostly "da-da-da-da", instead of just the open mouth sounds and singing he was doing earlier.
-He's figured out how to give good cues for when he's eating solids: big wide open mouth for "more please", turned away head with closed mouth for "I'm done". So far he eats barley, oatmeal, sweet potato, carrots, apples, winter squash, banana and peaches. He's not big on the peaches.
-I'm trying to remember to photograph him after each diaper change, so I can document all his different diapers. I inadvertently caught a pinup shot!
