Rhys crawls whereever he wants to now, all over the house. More often than not, when where he wants isn't whereever the cat is headed, it's the guest bathroom. I have no idea why. He just loves it in there.
We chase him every time he heads for the stairs, as the standard gates don't fit the top right and the childproofers can't come until tomorrow. The last two weeks have been very very tiring.
He's pulling up on everything he can manage, mostly low tables and ottomans and the edge of his toy binand peopple's legs. He likes to see if he can balance with just one hand holding on, or even no hands for a second. He's learning how to fall on his tush rather than his head, if he miscalculates.
He has two sharp little teeth. He can pick up Cheerios in a pincer grip, and he cn put things in his mouth, but he cannot put small things in his mouth yet. This is mostly a blessing. But he likes when I feed him Cheerios or bits of bread. He does not like chunks in his pureed food at all, though.
He makes a lot of noises, including a growly monster noise that we are all very fond of, and lots of repeated syllables. He will go looking for a pacifier if he's seen one recently.
He looks like this.
